Losing concentration is one of the easiest things to do. There are so many distractions, especially in this age of technology. One thing after another and suddenly it’s 6-o’clock! A lot of times, people blame losing focus on their distractions. But in reality, it’s their fault and desire to do anything but what they’re supposed to be doing. Hate to break it to you! Here are some tips to gain more concentration, focus, and—evidently—more self-control. These tips benefit both mental and physical health: a win-win!

  1. Don’t Multitask. This is the opposite of focus: all your thoughts jumbled while you attempt to complete 4 different, unrelated tasks. Yeah, not a good start, or end, to any day. We’re not joking, multitasking is chemically proven to be ineffective.

  1. No Clutter Please. Clutter affects your ability to focus and process information. You want a clean, concentrated workspace right? So clutter wouldn’t get along in your workspace. Now there will be more quality information to better your time with. And of course, decluttering is a mood booster!

  1. E-A-T. Fueling your body is a necessity for work, and successful lifestyle! Eat those fruits and veggies, of course, but also foods like salmon or grass-fed meat. These foods have important vitamins that will boost your immune system and your brain power. You can also take vitamin supplements like Omega 3, Vitamin B12, and Vitamin D.
